CHOCOLATE CHERRY GRANOLA BARS:

What you will need:

2 cups Rolled Oats

1 cup Almonds

1/2 cup Cashews

1/2 cup Sunflower Seeds

1/2 cup Wheat Germ

1/2 cup Honey

1/4 cup Packed Brown Sugar

2 tablespoons of Unsalted Butter

1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt

2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract

1-1/2 cup Dried Cherries

1/2 cup Dark Chocolate Chips

~Cookie Sheet, 9×9 inch Pan, Wax Paper, Mixing Bowl.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place wax paper on the bottom of an 9×9 inch pan. Set aside. Spread oats, cashews, sunflower seeds, almonds, and wheat germ on a cookie sheet and roast in the oven for 10 minutes. While the nuts are roasting…combine unsalted butter, brown sugar, honey, vanilla extract in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until sugar dissolves. Remove nut mixture from the oven and then reduce the oven heat to 275 degrees. Immediately add nut mixture to the sugar mixture. Add dried cherries. Lastly, add the dark chocolate chips. Stir until well mixed. Press granola mixture into your wax lined baking dish. Pop in the oven for 20-25 minutes. Let cool and then cut into bars! SO GOOD!!

 

HONEY NUT GRANOLA:

What you will need:

4 cups Rolled Oats

1 cup Sliced or Chopped Almonds

2/3 cup Honey

1/3 cup Coconut Oil

1 tablespoon Ground Cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt

1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

2 tablespoons Ground Flax Seed

~Mixing Bowl, Cookie Sheet, Aluminum Foil and/or Wax Paper

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Mix rolled oats, almonds, cinnamon, sea salt, and flax seed in a mixing bowl. Add honey, coconut oil, and vanilla extract. Stir well. Spread mixture on a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil or wax paper. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven, stir mixture and put back in the oven for 10 more minutes. Remove the granola when its golden brown. Great for an easy snack on the trail! I also love adding this on top of vanilla greek yogurt with bananas, strawberries, and peanut butter! Enjoy! 🙂

 

PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE GRANOLA BARS:

What you will need:

1/2 cup Creamy Peanut Butter 

1/3 cup Honey

1 Large Egg

2 Tablespoons Canola Oil

1 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract

3 1/2 cups Rolled Oats

1/2 cup Packed Light Brown Sugar

1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt

1/3 cup Peanut Butter Chips

1/3 cup Mini Chocolate Chips

1/2 cup Rice Krispie Cereal

~2 Mixing Bowls, 13×9 inch Cookie Sheet, Mixer or Handheld Beater

Preheat  oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl, beat the peanut butter,egg, honey, oil and vanilla extract with a handheld beater or mixer until super creamy. In a separate mixing bowl, stir together the oats, brown sugar and sea salt. Add the peanut butter mixture to the oat mixture. Add the peanut butter chips, chocolate chips, and rice krispies. Spray the cookie sheet with a nonstick cooking spray. Spread the oat mixture evenly over the cookie sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool and Slice! Yum!

 

 

PUMPKIN SPICE GRANOLA:

What you will need:

4 cups Rolled Oats

1/2 cup Pecans

1/2 cup Almonds

1/2 cup Honey

2/3 Applesauce

1/3 cup Brown Sugar

1 tablespoon Pumpkin Pie Spice

1 teaspoon Nutmeg

1 teaspoon Cinnamon

1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract

1/3 cup Raisins

1/3 cup Dried Cranberries

~2 Mixing Bowls, 13×9 inch Cookie Sheet

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Combine oats, brown sugar, nuts, spices, raisins, cranberries in a mixing bowl. In a seprate bowl combine applesauce, honey, and vanilla extract. Combine applesauce mixture to the oats mixtures. Spray cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Spread mixture evenly over cookie sheet. Bake 20 minutes. Remove from oven and stir. Return to oven for 2o more minutes or until golden brown.
