Protein Energy Ball Recipes

CHOCOLATE COCONUT PROTEIN BALLS: 

These are awesome for a burst of energy while you’re out hiking!

Prep time: These bad boys will be ready to eat in about an hour!

What you will need:

1/2 cup Chocolate Protein Powder (whatever you prefer, whey, soy, etc.)

1/4 cup Unsweetened Coconut Flakes

1/4 cup Coconut Oil

1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

2 tablespoons of Cocoa Powder

1/8 Teaspoon Sea Salt

1/4 cup Chopped Almonds (optional)

3 tablespoons Water

~Cookie Sheet, Mixing Bowl

Add all ingredients into a mixing bowl and stir. Slowly add 3 Tablespoons of water until the mixture becomes dough-like. Roll dough into 1 to 2 inch balls and place on cookie sheet. Place in the refrigerator for an hour. 50 calories per ball, loads of energy! Yum!

MOUNTAIN MIX PROTEIN ENERGY BALLS:

What you will need:

1 1/2 cups Rolled Oats

1/2 cup Vanilla Protein Powder (whey, soy, whatever you prefer)

1 tablespoon Chia Seeds

1/2 cup Creamy Peanut Butter 

3 tablespoons Honey

1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

1 teaspoon Cinnamon

1 teaspoon Sea Salt

1/3 cup Raisins

1/3 cup Chocolate Chips

1/3 cup Dried Cranberries

3 tablespoons Water

~Mixing Bowl

Combine oats, protein powder, cinnamon, salt, chia seeds, dried cranberries, chocolate chips, and raisins in a mixing bowl. Add peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir. Slowly add water to make a doughy like consistency. Add enough water where you can roll into 1 to 2 inch balls. Keep adding water if the dough is too dry. Chill in fridge for 30 minute to hour. Instant energy for your day!

 

OATMEAL PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE CHIP PROTEIN BALLS:

What you will need:

1/2 cup Vanilla Protein Powder (whey, soy, or whatever you prefer)

2 cups Rolled Oats

½ cup Ground Flax Seed

1 tablespoon Chia Seeds

1 teaspoon Cinnamon

¾ cup Dried Pitted Dates

½ cup Creamy Peanut Butter

1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

4 tablespoons Water

⅓ cup Dark Chocolate Chips

~Mixing Bowl

Combine protein powder, oats, flax seed, chia seeds, cinnamon, and dark chocolate chips in mixing bowl. Add peanut butter, dates, and vanilla extract. Stir well. Slowly add water to make a dough like consistency. Roll balls into 1 to 2 inch balls. Chill in fridge for 30 minutes to an hour. Nom nom nom.
